About Me:

Shayley
I've been putting on shows for three decades, and have a wealth of experience and contacts in the theatre and event arena. When I'm not putting on shows, I work as a trainer with stage and technical theatre students.

I am available for freelance, temporary contract work, along with one off or short term consultancy.

Permanent job? Maybe! Drop me a line: - anything interesting, everything considered!

Recent highlights:

  • Company Stage Manager and Production Manager for the Touring Consortium Theatre Company / Jonathan Church Productions on David Haig's Pressure
Staring David Haig, directed by the extraordinary John Dove, wonderful actors and team, one of my all time favourite gigs!

  • Company Stage Manager for Mark Goucher/ Mark Rubinstein on The Miser

  • Company Stage Manager for ETT's UK tour of Brideshead Revisited.
Great bunch of actors, top team, and terrific producers.....does life get any better?

  • Company Stage Manager for ATG's UK tour of Private Lives.
Huge fun gig visiting all the ATG venues up and down the land with Noel Cowards classic play.

  • Company Stage Manager on the 25th Anniversary Tour of Return to the Forbidden Planet
Out on the road again, this time touring in another camper van, all over the UK. Plus a fantastic week in South Korea, not in the camper van.

  • Stage Manager The Great North Run Million Opening Ceremony
We got the band back together - mostly ex Sochi, stage management team for this unique event on the Tyne.

  • Senior Stage Manager Opening and Closing Ceremonies the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
An amazing experience, working with great people in a sometimes bizarre environment...words just can't describe it!

  • PM for the "Super Auditorium" at ExCel, London for The Big Bang, along with the delivery of the National Science and Engineering Awards.
What a great gig this was, and a terrific event to be involved with. It's easy to be cynical about awards ceremonies and trade shows, but this one is "in fact" not only very good, it's also making a real contribution to the future of our country and aspirations of some of our young and gifted students.
